Welcome to the official Rumford Reporter website owned and operated by Jennifer Norris of South Rumford, Maine.
Do you live in a corrupt, elitist, conflict of interest ridden and/or nepotism ridden town? Are you sick and tired of your taxes going up? Do you feel that a few benefit from the majority? Then do something about it. Get involved, build community, and take your town back. We have experience in this arena and we will teach you how to use the power of the internet to replace the Lame Stream Media. It works! To contact TRR, e-mail at rumfordreporter@roadrunner.com or call 339-200-8772 and leave a message. YOU are what keeps me going. Thank you for visiting.

Your E-Mail Subscription to the Rumford Reporter

One of my readers gave me some good information today that triggered me to inform you of a change on the Rumford Reporter. When I first started the website, there was an e-mail subscription account that accompanied the website, which actually belonged to the prior editor of the River Valley Reporter.

After my website was hacked, that e-mail subscription link was deleted and there was no way that I could retrieve it because the account was owned by the previous editor of the site. Therefore, I created my own e-mail subscription account.

I would recommend to those readers who signed up for updates via the e-mail subscription prior to July 20, 2008 that you unsubscribe from that and subscribe again via the e-mail subscription link on the Rumford Reporter. You will know if you are one of the people who needs to sign up for the Rumford Reporter e-mail subscriptions again if the "FROM" e-mail address says kevin@rumfordmaine.org. The top of the e-mail will look something like this:

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work through the transition and hacking issues that caused problems with the website. Once you complete these important steps, you will be able to reply to those updates and your replies will go to the appropriate e-mail address. After you make the change, the top of the new e-mail will look something like this:
